José Gourmet: Portuguese tinned fish with art on the can

José Gourmet is a Portuguese brand for tinned fish and gourmet foods, operated by the company 100 Mistérios. The name is a tribute to all Josés – and to the Hebrew meaning "the one who adds". José Gourmet wants to add value: to the products, which are artisanally produced, and to the packaging. Each variety has its own illustration, designed by Portuguese artists, and the tins are made of recycled material and are intended as collector's items.

Sardines, mackerel, tuna and mousses

The classics are the sardines in tomato sauce, the sardines with lemon in olive oil and the small mackerel in olive oil. In addition, there is tuna fillet, smoked sardines, smoked salmon and squid in ragout sauce. For spreading, there are three mousses: tuna, spicy mackerel and trout with port wine – perfect with fresh bread and a glass of wine.

The fish pâté gift set combines four tins of pâté, while the 4-piece gift set features four tins of fish. The José Gourmet range also includes 10-year-old port wine, an oak-aged tawny, as well as a white port wine.
