van Nahmen from Hamminkeln in the Lower Rhine region has been pressing juice since 1917, now in its fourth generation. With us, you will find non-alcoholic fruit seccos, single-variety direct juices such as Morellenfeuer and organic apple juice from meadow orchards, as well as nectars ranging from Constantinople quince to white peach, 0.75 l each.

van Nahmen: Juice from the Lower Rhine

In 1917, Wilhelm van Nahmen founded an apple butter factory in Hamminkeln; starting in 1930, juice was pressed there. Today, Dr. Peter van Nahmen and his wife Sabine run the private cider mill in the fourth generation. In 1994, Rainer van Nahmen launched an orchard meadow project with NABU: Over 300 partners supply ripe, unsprayed fruit from high-stem meadows and receive a premium price for it. Since 2007, van Nahmen has also been pressing single-variety juices.

Direct Juice and Nectar

The Morellenfeuer Sour Cherry Juice comes from a sour cherry variety grown by small farmers around Aachen. The Organic Apple Juice from Orchard Meadows comes from their own project on the Lower Rhine. In addition, there is Stromberger Plum and Pomegranate as direct juice, as well as nectars for cases where the fruit would be too sour or too thick if pure: Constantinople Apple Quince with at least 85% fruit content, Rhubarb, White Peach, Apricot and Blackcurrant.

Fruit Secco – non-alcoholic

The fruit seccos are sparkling carbonated juices in a champagne bottle: Apple Quince and Grape in organic quality, plus Apple Blackcurrant Raspberry and Apple Blueberry Cherry.
